ABOUT

Elizabeth Palmer challenges anthropocentrism through found object sculpture and installation, weaving fragments of dystopic narrative with each reclaimed addition. Informed by dystopian literature, media and contemporary news, the work examines what is possible if the scales tip out of humanity's favour. Exploring speculative posthuman futures and the impossible unknown, from the callousness of power-hungry, remorseless humans in the face of technological advancement, to the possible lives of care robots with no one left to care for.
